SUD Counselor - Truelife Recovery Program

The substance use disorder counselor will provide evidence-Based early intervention services, including education, individual/Group counseling, family engagement, and tobacco cessation education, primarily to adolescents aged 12 through 17 and older high school students. Responsibilities also include conducting screenings, developing individualized problem lists with youth, and maintaining accurate progress notes in the electronic health record system.

Candidates must be registered or able to register as a sud counselor in california within 30 days and preferably have two years of related experience in substance abuse or co-Occurring treatment, with demonstrated knowledge of specific intervention models like dbt or seeking safety. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and bilingual proficiency in english/Spanish are strongly preferred, with differential pay offered for bilingual skills.
