Core responsibilities
The registered behavior technician will provide direct, one-On-One applied behavior analysis (Aba) therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder, implementing individualized treatment plans designed to improve communication and adaptive skills. Responsibilities include implementing skill acquisition programs, reducing challenging behaviors, accurately collecting data, and collaborating with supervising bcbas and families.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess an active registered behavior technician (Rbt) certification and a high school diploma or equivalent, though a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Essential qualities include strong communication skills and comfort working directly with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
