Early Head Start Assistant Teacher

The assistant teacher will support lead teachers by helping to create engaging, play-Based learning environments for young children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Key duties include assisting with classroom setup, daily activities, tracking child development, and fostering strong relationships with families.

A child development associate (Cda) credential is required for this position, with an associate degree in early childhood education being preferred. Candidates should also possess experience with young children, strong skills in communication, teamwork, and classroom management, alongside a commitment to equity and inclusion.
