The advisor counsels customers on job search strategies, personal career advisement, and training needs, while identifying and addressing barriers to employment and setting professional goals. Responsibilities also include monitoring customer participation, maintaining case notes, facilitating job readiness workshops, and ensuring accurate record-Keeping according to program standards.

Candidates need a bachelor of art/Science in a related field (Psychology, marketing, business, hr) or equivalent experience, along with at least two years working with career counseling consumers, preferably in workforce development. Strong communication, organizational skills, the ability to motivate individuals, and knowledge of local job search resources are essential.
