Are you a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) ready to transition your clinical expertise from the ICU to the classroom? Pima Medical Institute is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist Instructor for our accredited Las Vegas program.

In this role, you aren’t just teaching theory; you are the architect of a student's career. You will lead high-fidelity simulations, mentor students through complex clinical concepts, and ensure that the next generation of Nevada's Practitioners are prepared for the rigors of modern healthcare.

Key Responsibilities • Clinical Instruction

  • Develop and deliver dynamic lesson plans, interactive lab sessions, and practical demonstrations that cater to diverse learning styles.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from a CoARC-accredited program (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Credentials: Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
  • Licensure: Current, unrestricted Nevada State RCP (Respiratory Care Practitioner) license.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or acute care setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of teaching experience in an accredited respiratory therapy program.
  • Exceptional communication and classroom management skills.
