Nursing Professional Development Specialist- Med/Surg Division, West Penn Hospital

The specialist is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating educational activities for the assigned med/Surg division, focusing on planning, developing, and evaluating educational programs (30%). They will also collaborate on quality and performance improvement initiatives and serve as an educational consultant for staff and leadership (55%).

Candidates must possess a minimum of a master’s degree in nursing or education, or equivalent experience, along with a current pennsylvania or multi-State rn license. Required experience includes two years of relevant clinical experience and two years of education/Training experience.
