Counselor

The counselor plans, coordinates, develops, and implements individual and group counseling programs for assigned students, involving reviewing background files, conducting interviews, and recommending appropriate educational and vocational programs. Responsibilities also include maintaining detailed documentation, identifying and remediating student barriers, and conducting specialized group programs on topics like conflict resolution and self-Esteem.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree with 15 credits in social services related fields, along with one year of experience in counseling or a related field. Essential requirements include sound knowledge of counseling techniques, strong interpersonal and documentation skills, computer literacy, and a valid driver's license.
