This specialist assists separated or separating students by providing guidance and placement services into employment, apprenticeships, post-Secondary education, or military enlistment. Key duties involve establishing relationships with employers and community entities to ensure successful placements and maintaining thorough documentation of services provided to graduates.

Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a human services or related field, or an associate's degree with two years of related experience, plus one year of experience in workforce development, marketing, or placement. A valid driver's license with an acceptable record is also mandatory.
