Core responsibilities
The assistant men's basketball coach reports to the head coach and is primarily responsible for teaching student-Athletes basketball fundamentals during practices and meetings, and preparing for competitions to develop a division i competitive program. This role also involves supporting the head coach by managing aspects of recruiting, practices, competitions, student-Athletes, and booster clubs while maintaining professional conduct and adhering to ncaa regulations.
Requirements summary
A bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience as a collegiate coach or collegiate student-Athlete are required, along with demonstrated experience administering division i ncaa rules. Preferred qualifications include ncaa division i experience, demonstrated experience in budget allocation, and fundraising capabilities.
