Youth Counselor

The youth counselor is responsible for the wellbeing and safety of participating youth aged 5-12 by delivering academic, enrichment, recreational, and leadership development programming within a positive youth development context. This role also involves attending required meetings, responding to emergencies, escorting children, and performing light facility maintenance and supply distribution.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma/Ged and at least two years of expertise in direct afterschool program delivery, though a college diploma is preferred. Essential personal attributes include a high-Energy, dynamic personality, a genuine passion for youth, and the physical ability to lift, push, or pull 50lbs as needed.
