Social Worker (2026-2027 School Year)

School social workers provide direct services, including counseling, to students and families at elementary and secondary levels to address social-Emotional-Environmental issues interfering with academic learning. Responsibilities include participating in the special education evaluation process, collaborating with teams, and serving as a liaison between school, home, and community.

Candidates must possess a master's-Level social work degree and hold a current, valid license issued by the behavioral science regulatory board (Bsrb) in kansas. Completion of a practicum in a school setting and a college-Level course on school social work are recommended.
