Health Specialist Exercise Based (Enhance Fitness) - Hernando County

The health specialist instructor is responsible for safely and effectively instructing chronic disease programming, focusing on enhancing program quality and participant retention under the direction of the director/Coordinator. Duties include preparing the exercise area, selecting music and choreography, maintaining a nurturing environment, and ensuring class safety and adherence to emergency procedures.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old and obtain specific certifications upon hire, including one of yusa's chronic disease programs, cpr, aed, and first aid, along with several mandatory yusa trainings. Required attributes include good communication, problem-Solving skills, and the physical stamina to lead classes effectively.
