A YReads Before and/or After School Staff - Pinellas/Pasco School Age Programs

The youth development specialist is responsible for overseeing the engagement and development of children in ymca programs by implementing enriching activities tailored to their assigned group. Key duties include ensuring child safety through supervision, maintaining accurate records, utilizing positive reinforcement, and fostering positive relationships among all program participants.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent (Or be enrolled in classes to obtain one within two years), and have experience working with children preferred. Required training includes various ymca-Specific courses within specified timeframes after hiring.
