Associate Degree Nursing Faculty

Faculty members are primarily responsible for demonstrating mastery of their subject matter, planning and organizing instruction to maximize student learning, and effectively employing teaching strategies. They must also participate in the development and assessment of student learning outcomes and adhere to all college policies and procedures.

Applicants must possess the appropriate academic preparation, including a master of science degree in nursing or a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in nursing from a regionally accredited institution, along with a current texas registered nurse license or eligibility. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required, alongside a commitment to the community college philosophy of education.
