  • Exciting Opportunity for a Middle School Special Education Teacher!
  • Offering $70 to $80 per hour with flexible hours!
  • This is an in person only job with school daytime hours.
  • This position has the flexibility to be part or full time with later starts or earlier afternoons if needed.

  • We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team and work with middle school students.
  • This role allows you to create impactful educational experiences in a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored instruction for middle school students with diverse learning needs and disabilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address each student's unique goals Create a learning environment that fosters student engagement and growth Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to promote inclusive education Evaluate student progress and adapt instruction based on data and observations

Qualifications

Masters degree in Special Education or a related field; Current state certification in Special Education Experience working with middle school students with special needs Strong understanding of behavioral management and instructional strategies A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to use various assessment tools to measure student growth Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70-85 per hour 1099 Contract position Temporary till the end of the year with possibility to renew Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay: Bonus opportunities Experience: Teaching: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Special Education Certification (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Revere, MA 02151 (Required) Work Location: In person
