- We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired to provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments, helping them achieve academic success and independence.
- Part time in person 5.5 hours per week. and 2 hours per month consult at a school in Stoughton ma Key Responsibilities: Assess the needs of students with visual impairments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Provide direct instruction in braille, orientation and mobility, and the use of assistive technology Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to create inclusive learning environments Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting instruction as needed Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
