Security and Protective Services Instructor

The instructor will present designated subject area material in a regular classroom setting, promoting a positive atmosphere to maximize student motivation and learning according to job corps requirements. Responsibilities also include counseling students on behavior and study habits, individualizing the curriculum, preparing reports, and collaborating on work-Based learning programs.

Candidates must generally be certified, licensed, or accredited in the state or by a professional trade organization, though waivers are possible if certification is pursued afterward. Employment is contingent upon passing a drug screen and a nationwide criminal background check, and a valid driver's license is preferred.
