Swim Instructor

The swim instructor is responsible for teaching participants proper stroke and swim technique while emphasizing water safety, ensuring the highest quality service to members and guests. This role involves working with staff to welcome, connect, support, and engage all members, guests, and staff.

Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years old and are required to obtain certifications in cpr/First aid/Aed/O2, complete mandatory trainings, and pass criminal background and child protective services checks. Preferred qualifications include red cross lifeguarding/Ymca lifeguarding and red cross water safety instructor or ymca swim lesson certification.
