Swim Instructor

The swim instructor is responsible for teaching participants proper stroke and swim technique while ensuring water safety under the supervision of a designated supervisor. This role involves working with staff to welcome, connect, support, and engage all members, guests, and staff with an emphasis on high-Quality service.

Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years old and are required to obtain certifications in cpr/First aid/Aed/O2, along with completing mandatory trainings like neo and child abuse prevention. Preferred qualifications include red cross lifeguarding or ymca lifeguarding, and red cross water safety instructor or ymca swim lesson certification, with crossover certifications required within six months of hire if not already held.
