Youth Development Professional

The youth development professional plans, implements, supervises, and evaluates programs in areas like arts, technology, games, and physical education while fostering a positive and safe atmosphere for members. Key duties include creating weekly lesson plans, promoting activities, mentoring youth, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the assigned area.

Candidates must be registered with boys & girls clubs of america and complete required training, including obtaining first aid and cpr certifications. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with prior youth work experience preferred, alongside excellent verbal and written communication skills.
