Teachers are responsible for providing students with appropriate learning activities and experiences to foster intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth, which includes planning individualized programs of study and creating a conducive learning environment. Key duties involve guiding learning toward curriculum goals, employing diverse instructional techniques, assessing student accomplishments regularly, and maintaining accurate records.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and meet texas “highly qualified” standards, holding a valid texas teacher certificate. Essential knowledge includes curriculum and instruction, alongside strong abilities in communication, relationship building, computer use, interviewing, public speaking, and problem-Solving.
