Certified Medical Assistant, CMA - Family Medicine, Pediatrics - Residency Clinic - St. Petersburg

The certified medical assistant performs patient care under the direction of a physician or advanced practice provider in an ambulatory setting, supporting pediatric patient visits within a family medicine residency clinic. Key duties include gathering patient data, assisting during examinations and procedures, administering approved medications, and accurately documenting all patient interactions and treatments.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of medical assistant training or at least one year of verifiable work experience as a medical assistant in a patient care setting, with pediatrics experience being highly preferred. Applicants must maintain current bls certification and current certification/Registration from an approved medical assistant agency.
