Core responsibilities
The intern will provide individual and group counseling, clinical assessments, treatment planning, and behavior intervention for high-Risk students from elementary to high school age in an alternative school setting. This role also involves caregiver collaboration, working on iep and behavior goals, and acting in a crisis intervention capacity, including cpi restraint techniques when necessary.
Requirements summary
Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field to qualify for this internship role. Credentials such as experience with trauma, cbt, ncc, or dbt are preferred but not mandatory.
