Core responsibilities
Behavior technicians will work one-On-One with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans designed by a board certified behavior analyst (Bcba) using evidence-Based techniques. Responsibilities include teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while actively working to reduce interfering behaviors.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be passionate about helping children with autism, demonstrating patience, compassion, and strong teamwork abilities, and must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or ged. Applicants must also be physically capable of various movements and lifting up to 50 pounds, and must obtain registered behavior technician certification after onboarding.
