Core responsibilities
The registered behavior technician will work one-On-One with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans designed by a board certified behavior analyst (Bcba). This involves using evidence-Based techniques to teach essential skills like communication and social interaction while actively reducing interfering behaviors.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be passionate about helping children with autism, demonstrating patience, compassion, and strong teamwork abilities, and must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or ged. Applicants must also be physically capable of demanding movements and lifting up to 50 pounds, and must obtain the registered behavior technician certification within 45 days of onboarding.
