Middle School Social Studies Teacher

The teacher is responsible for delivering specific social studies course content in an online environment, providing instruction, guidance, and managing the learning process while focusing on individual student needs. They must monitor student progress via the learning management system and actively collaborate with students and parents/Learning coaches to achieve established learning goals.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and six months of student teaching experience, meeting highly qualified teacher (Hqt) requirements for social studies under nclb, and must reside in ohio. Essential requirements include pedagogical knowledge, the ability to embrace change, strong organizational and problem-Solving skills, and the capacity to work independently for 40+ hours per week.
