Special Education Teaching Assistant

The primary function involves supervising student activities under teacher direction, assuming class schedules when the teacher is absent, and assisting with small group instruction. This role also requires implementing student plans like the iep, bip, medical protocol, and sensory diet.

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in education or a related field is required. Training or supervised experience in the care and instruction of children is also necessary, and a valid driver's license is preferably held.
