The school counselor implements a comprehensive guidance program focusing on academic, personal, and career development, adhering to asca guidelines. Responsibilities include delivering guidance curriculum, providing responsive services, and managing individual student planning activities.

Candidates must possess a master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field, along with a valid arizona department of education counselor certification and an active az dps ivp fingerprint clearance card. Equivalent combinations of experience, training, and education will also be considered.
