Core responsibilities
Residents participate in the clinical evaluation and care of patients across various settings, performing procedures under direct supervision and assuming progressive responsibility based on their level of education and ability. They must also fully engage in the educational and scholarly activities of the program, including teaching and supervising others as required.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be a graduate or pending graduate of an accredited medical school (Lcme or aoa accredited in the us/Canada) or meet specific qualifications if graduating from an international medical school, including passing usmle or comlex parts 1 & 2. A current illinois state medical license or proof of future licensure is required, along with current cpr certification from the american heart association.
