Residents will participate in the clinical evaluation and care of patients across various settings, performing procedures under direct supervision and assuming progressive responsibility based on education and experience. They must communicate effectively with supervising attendings and fully participate in the educational and scholarly activities of the program.

Requirements summary

Candidates must be a graduate or pending graduate of an accredited medical school (Lcme or aoa), or meet specific requirements for foreign medical graduates including ecfmg certification or a full/Unrestricted us medical license. A current illinois state medical license and current cpr certification from the american heart association are required.
