Virtual High School Counselor

The virtual school counselor partners with staff and families to inform academic programming, create graduation and career plans, and provide proactive and preventative services to support overall student success. Key duties include delivering guidance curriculum, responding to individual needs, managing student plans like 504s, and analyzing data to inform academic programs and interventions.

Candidates must possess a valid state school counselor license and a bachelor's degree along with one year of prior experience in counseling or advisement, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required competencies include proficiency with microsoft office and google suite, experience with the asca model, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
