Adjunct faculty are responsible for teaching assigned courses using approved curriculum, ensuring student satisfaction, and assisting students in achieving learning outcomes. They must also carry out administrative tasks dictated by mentors and coordinators, such as roster verification and timely grade submission.

Candidates must model a commitment to liberty university's goals and christian worldview. To teach at the baccalaureate level, a master’s or terminal degree in human resources with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the field is required, while master’s or doctoral level teaching requires a conferred terminal degree in human resources.
