Skills Trainer

The skills trainer delivers structured, individualized instruction across five core areas of new jersey’s pre-Employment transition services (Pre-Ets) program, including job exploration, work-Based learning, and self-Advocacy training. This role involves consistent service delivery, detailed documentation in setworks, and professional collaboration with counselors, schools, and families to empower students toward competitive employment.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in human services, education, or psychology, along with a reliable vehicle and a valid driving license, as travel within the county is required. Proficiency in microsoft office is mandatory, while experience in case management and crisis management is preferred.
