Phlebotomy Technician Skill Instructor

The instructor will be responsible for teaching students the skills within the scope of practice for phlebotomy, assisting the lead instructor with evaluations, grading assignments, and preparing students for externships. Duties also include fostering professional values and maintaining current subject matter knowledge.

Candidates must possess a current california cpt 1 license and be proficient in all blood collection methods, including capillary, syringe, vacutainer, and butterfly techniques. Preferred qualifications include one year of experience, comfort speaking to large groups, and strong organizational and critical thinking abilities.
