Alumni

The alumni advisor ensures students enroll in and complete college degrees by implementing a comprehensive alumni advising program, serving as the principal advisor on best practices for matriculation, persistence, and completion. Responsibilities include conducting campus visits, assisting with financial aid and transfer processes, planning workshops, communicating with alumni via various platforms leveraging salesforce, and developing collaborative partnerships with colleges.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least three years of experience advising economically disadvantaged, racially diverse students and their families regarding college access. A strong understanding of barriers faced by underrepresented, first-Generation students, high accountability, and a willingness to travel and work flexible hours are essential.
