Academic Advisor II

The academic advisor ii will advise prospective and current students on academic requirements, review applications for specific majors, audit students for graduation clearance, and lead orientation sessions. Responsibilities also include monitoring student retention and progression, evaluating transfer credit, and teaching or co-Teaching orientation classes.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree and three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred candidates will have a master's degree in a related field and experience with student retention or advising programs, along with proficiency in specific student success platforms and microsoft office.
