2026 Summer Teaching Assistant

The teacher assistant serves as a mentor to scholars, building strong rapport to support their success throughout the day, which includes supervising them during arrival, dismissal, meals, and recess. Responsibilities also involve supporting academic and enrichment lesson plans and leading small group workshops as assigned.

Candidates must be able to work the entirety of the program, including mandatory pre-Program training, and demonstrate strong problem-Solving skills while committing to the program model with fidelity. An associate degree or some college is preferred, alongside experience working with youth and maintaining a positive attitude.
