2026 Summer Teaching Assistant

The teacher assistant serves as a mentor, building strong rapport with scholars to support their success throughout the day, which includes supervising them during arrival, dismissal, meals, and recess. Responsibilities also involve supporting academic and enrichment lesson plans and leading small group workshops as assigned.

Candidates must be able to work the entirety of the program, including mandatory pre-Program training, and demonstrate the ability to build positive behavior support through rapport with scholars. Preferred qualifications include some college or an associate degree, strong problem-Solving skills, and a commitment to the program model.
