Core responsibilities
This role involves working at a granite falls school to collaborate with students, families, and school staff, utilizing clinical assessment skills to determine appropriate levels of care and manage transitions into programming. The coordinator will also navigate insurance needs and coordinate referrals while working under the guidance of a licensed social worker/Licensed mental health counselor.
Requirements summary
A minimum of an associate's degree is required, though a bachelor's degree is preferred, along with two years of post-Degree experience in a psychiatric setting, which is preferred but not mandatory. Required licensure includes agency affiliation, and specific certifications like cpr and verbal de-Escalation must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
