Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher is responsible for delivering specific course content online, providing instruction, support, and guidance focused on students’ individual needs as defined by their individualized education program (Iep). This includes developing compliant ieps, facilitating meetings, ensuring services are provided, and actively working with students and parents to advance learning.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree, an active state special education teaching license, and six months of student teaching experience, along with the ability to clear required background checks. A strong preference is given to candidates residing in virginia, though surrounding states like washington, dc, and maryland may be considered.
