Licensed Clinical College Counselor

The counselor provides culturally sensitive, confidential counseling to students addressing issues like college life challenges, relationships, academics, depression, anxiety, or disordered eating, adhering to outpatient standards. Responsibilities also include providing emergency triage, risk assessment, referral for distressed students, and consultation services for faculty, staff, and families within confidentiality limits.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related mental health field, along with a minimum of two years of clinical experience. Required licensure includes either lcsw or lpc in the state of pennsylvania upon hire, alongside demonstrated excellence in clinical assessment and therapy sensitive to diverse identity issues.
