Specialized Education Assistant

This role involves performing specialized work to assist the teacher in achieving instructional objectives by working with individual students or small groups to improve skills and increase learning. Responsibilities include reinforcing teacher-Introduced skills, guiding independent and remedial work, and helping maintain an organized learning environment.

Candidates must have an associate’s degree, or two years of college coursework (Minimum 48 semester hours), or a passing score on the parapro assessment test. One year of experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred, and certification in cpr and first aid must be obtained or already possessed.
