Preschool Social Worker- Brooklyn

The social worker provides critical support to individuals and families navigating illness and disabilities by resolving personal, financial, and environmental challenges while advocating for their needs within educational and clinical systems. Essential duties include developing case notes, assisting families in obtaining various support services, integrating therapeutic interventions, and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings for iep planning.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in social work from an accredited program and ideally hold a new york state licensed master social worker (Lmsw) credential with at least one year of prior experience. Required abilities include strong english communication, good interpersonal and organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the capacity to maintain strict confidentiality and work both independently and collaboratively.
