Physical Therapist Resident (H)

The physical therapist resident assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Core functions involve planning and carrying out individually designed physical treatment programs, performing initial examinations, documenting progress, and instructing patients and families on home treatment procedures.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in a relevant field and hold a valid state of florida physical therapist license, with no previous experience required for this resident position. Applicants are also expected to attend didactic learning sessions, complete assigned reading, and participate in mentorship hours with a supervising clinician.
