Bilingual Home Visiting Family Support Specialist

The family support specialist builds trusting relationships with families based on the healthy families america model, visiting homes to support positive home environments and promote child and family well-Being. Utilizing an infant mental health approach, the specialist practices reflective strategies to strengthen parent-Child relationships, improve parenting skills, teach problem-Solving, and reduce family stress.

A minimum requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent, along with bilingual proficiency in english and spanish, and experience working with or providing services to children and families. Candidates must be able to maintain professional boundaries and work a flexible schedule that may include some evening or weekend hours.
