Core responsibilities
The bcba will be responsible for the daily management of an assigned caseload, providing ongoing development, training, implementation, and monitoring of support systems like positive behavior intervention and support and behavior plans. This role also requires staying current with field trends, ensuring compliance with standards, and potentially overseeing areas like behavior modifying medication or restrictive practices.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master's degree in applied behavior analysis or special education (In school settings only) and hold current, good-Standing certification as a board certified behavior analyst (Bcba). Essential qualifications also include excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, computer proficiency, satisfactory background checks, and a valid driver's license.
