Special Education Teacher

The teacher will work with a diverse group of students using established instructional models and curricula to teach knowledge and skills, nurture confidence, and meet individual needs. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, implementing behavior management strategies, maintaining required student documentation like ieps and bips, and tracking student progress.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and hold a valid teaching credential appropriate for the role. A strong commitment to learning, adaptability, flexibility, and the physical ability to manage student needs, including lifting up to 50 pounds, are also expected.
