Periop 101 Program - RN Operating Room

The professional nurse will utilize the nursing process to provide patient- And family-Centered care, addressing physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs while developing individualized care plans consistent with cultural beliefs. Job duties involve interacting with staff and patients, integrating evidence-Based practice, educating patients and partners, minimizing harm, and functioning effectively within inter-Professional teams.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess knowledge in patient-Family-Centered practice, cultural awareness, effective communication, patient assessment, education, medication administration, discharge planning, and health information documentation. A minimum requirement includes bls certification and an active rn license in pennsylvania or new jersey.
