Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher supports educational and behavioral goals for students with individualized education programs by cooperating with classroom teachers, modifying curriculum, and conducting necessary diagnostic assessments. Responsibilities also include writing and implementing behavior plans, facilitating iep meetings, and utilizing research-Based best practices in instruction.

Candidates must possess a current state license and knowledge of state standards and common core standards, with experience in a full inclusion or co-Teaching resource room model preferred. Applicants need high-Quality communication skills, proficiency in microsoft office, excellent organization, and the ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
