Core responsibilities
Behavior technicians will work one-On-One with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a board certified behavior analyst (Bcba). This involves using evidence-Based techniques to teach essential skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be passionate about helping children with autism, patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team, requiring a minimum age of 18 and a high school diploma or ged. Physical requirements include the ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds, along with obtaining cpr/First aid certification.
